In light of recent derogatory remarks made by NPP officials, NDC Insight vehemently urges all Voltarians and Muslims to reconsider any support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The comments made by Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye, labeling Voltarians as “foreigners” and questioning the contributions of Muslims to our nation are not just offensive—they are a stark reminder of the divisive politics that have no place in our beloved Ghana.
It is disheartening to witness such a low point in our political discourse, where a politician can disregard the dignity of entire communities. Let us remind Abronye that our national anthem, a symbol of unity and pride, was composed by a Ghanaian.
His failure to recognize the significant contributions of Voltarians and Muslims only underscores the ignorance and bigotry that some within the NPP continue to perpetuate.

Additionally, President Nana Addo’s careless remarks during his visit to Mepe after a disaster, suggesting that he would not have visited if he had to count votes, reflect a troubling disconnect from the realities faced by Ghanaians.
As the December 7th elections approach, we call upon all Voltarians and Muslims to remember the words and attitudes of NPP members. While they may attempt to sway voters with promises and incentives, we urge you to prioritize truth, development, and integrity at the ballot box.
The only candidate who embodies these values is His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.
NDC Insight stands firmly against the NPP’s attempts to manipulate and exploit our communities. We must not allow ourselves to be seen as anything less than proud Ghanaians.
The time has come to vote en masse for the NDC and John Mahama, rejecting the politics of division and disrespect.Let us unite against the bigotry and reclaim our narrative. We are not foreigners; we are Ghanaians.
