As parts of internal activities leading to the 2020 general elections, the National Democratic Congress has on Friday inaugurated its regional campaigns teams across the country .
In the Greater Accra region, the National Chairman of the Party, Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo was joined by other senior members of the party for the inauguration of Greater Accra 2020 Campaign Team.
Addressing the team, the Greater Accra chairman of the party who doubles as Chairman of the campaign team in the region, Chairman Ade Coker admonished members to work hard for the victory ahead and promised to win majority of the votes in the region for the NDC.
Addressing the team members, the National Chairman of NDC, Hon Ofosu Ampofo charged the regional executives to as a matter of urgency set up constituency campaign teams for all the constituencies under the region latest by friday.
Chairman Ofosu Ampofo also advised the team to set their boot on the grounds immediately after the inauguration and stressed that there’s no time to waste.
“After this inauguration, i want to see boots on the ground and everyone must be involved”
Immediately after the program in Accra, Hon. Ofosu Ampofo and his team which included Hon. Kojo Adu Asare, former MP for Adenta, Hon. Kofi Attor and the National Treasure of the NDC left for Koforidua in the Eastern Region where similar inauguration took place.
In the Eastern Region, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo called for unity among party members and executives and advised them to focus on winning election 2020 for the NDC.
“Let’s focus on winning election 2020 and Easter Region is key to the NDC, unite and fight for victory together “
Similar exercise ( inauguration of Regional Campaign Teams ) for election 2020 took place in all the regions across the country in the party’s regional offices.
