Oti Region; NCCE organizes quiz competition for SHSs in Nkwanta South.

The office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Nkwanta South has organized inter schools quiz competition for SHSs in the municipality.

Four SHSs in the municipality namely Nkwanta SHS, Ntruboman SHS, Kyabobo Girls SHS and Nkwanta Community SHS competed for honours,

At the end of the day, Kyabobo Girls SHS emerged the winners with 52 points, and was presented with books and trophy.

The Oti Regional Director of the Commission, Robert Kwasi Boameh called on government to resource the Commission.

According to him, his outfit is struggling with funding to execute their mandated duties as civic educators.

He therefore appealed to government, benevolent individuals and organizations to assist the commission.

He however revealed that, at least every district is supposed to have a vehicle to aid their travels. Unfortunately, some district offices do not have even motor bikes including Nkwanta South Municipality.

To corroborate the assertion of the Regional Director, John Tadare, the Nkwanta South Municipal Director says, the quiz was largely supported by individuals and organizations in the Nkwanta South Municipality.

He therefore expressed his profound gratitude to them for making the quiz competition a success.
