Nations FC Coach Urges Players to Be Clinical

Nations FC head coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has emphasized the need for his players to be more clinical in front of goal as the team approaches the final stretch of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Despite a 4-1 win over Legon Cities FC, Mingle expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s performance, particularly in the first half.

“We wasted a lot of chances,” Mingle noted, highlighting the need for improvement.

He urged his players to work on their mistakes and come out stronger in the next game.

Nations FC currently tops the league table with 57 points, but the coach knows that his team must win all three remaining games to secure the title. Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, and Asante Kotoko are all waiting in the wings, ready to pounce on any slip-up.

Nations FC’s next match is against defending champions FC Samartex at home.

Mingle will be keen to see his team respond to his criticisms and come out on top in a crucial league encounter. The team’s performance will be closely watched as they bid to clinch the league title.
