Ghanaian female musician and the natural girl hit-maker, Mzvee, said she gets worried sometimes about not settling down at 30 even though it’s not a priority.
Speaking in an interview on Friday, June, 24th, the 30 –year musician reveals that her mother keeps reminding her of a promise she made to her to marry in her 20s.
She said all her sisters are married and the kind of pressure she is going through from the family and fans, is not easy to bear.
“I never knew it will get to this point where when I post a picture someone can comment, you, be there don’t go and get married!
“There is so much pressure from the fans and people on social media. Even personally that unconscious pressure that I never thought I will have. My mom once in a while will call and say it is your turn because all my sisters are married…you told me 27 now you are 28. Then the next day she says you told me 28 now you are 29,” MzVee said.
“I won’t lie I get worried but it is there just that it is not such a big deal,” she added.
Mzvee turned 30, on Thursday, June 23, 2022, and it appears the pressure is becoming unbearable.
However, she is doing very well with her music career. She has released her latest album titled, 10:30 on her birthday and also to celebrate her 10th anniversary in the music industry.
Her 10:30 album experience concert was launched at the FrontBackAccra.
