‘My leadership will be different from the current regional leadership – Michael Tetteh

Aspiring Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Micheal Tetteh Kwetteh has promised, his leadership will be different from the current regional leadership when he is elected as Regional Chairman of the party

Speaking in an interview on Radio Gold’s Pampaso monitored by Nana Ama Nyamekye Monday, October 17, 2022, he indicated the current regional leadership believe ‘your mouth should always be full’ if you are the regional chairman but he believes otherwise

Mr Kwetey said, the party under the leadership of the current chairman, Ade Coker has lost integrity and discipline which he promised to restore when he is elected

“if the regional chairman draws a program and presidential candidate fails to bring money the program will not hold, moreover when the money comes it doesn’t get to where it is supposed to get to”

He recounted that, during 2020 election, he gave an amount of money to Chairman Ade Coker to support Election Day activities but was surprise the regional secretary told him he knew nothing about it

“This is my own issue, I drove to Chairman’s house to give him some money to support Election Day activities, I was talking to the regional secretary the other time and he said he has no idea I gave an amount of money, which means none of the executives were informed. So where is the money?, he quizzed

Hon Tetteh reiterated, he has the right ideas to put in place strategies to ensure the NDC wins election 2024

He charged delegates to vote for competent people who can work in the interest of the NDC to bring back the party’s lost glory and not to vote on tribal sentiments or who can pay more money

He appealed to delegates to give him the mandate to help restore NDC’s lost image to ensure that the party wins power in 2024
