With regards to a private security man who has been murdered by suspected robbers at Ahenema Kokoben near Kumasi in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti region in an alleged armed robbery operation at A2 Aluminium Company Limited, the Ashanti Regional Police Command have put in measures to track down all the suspects involved.
The deceased, believed to be a 45-year-old who was identified as Mr Annorh was reportedly killed on Tuesday, October 20, 2021, when he was on duty on the day of the incident.
The robbers according to the report bolted with about 98,000 Ghana cedis after the operation.
A staff of A2 Allumminium Limited Omono Asamoah explained, the victim was also an employee of the company.
He added that the man was found dead Wednesday morning with his hands and legs tied behind him.
The yet to be identified assailants also attacked an office of the Electricity Company of Ghana ECG Vending shop and made away with some unspecified amount of money.
The Police however conveyed the lifeless body of the security officer to the morgue, while investigations have commenced into the circumstances surrounding the robbery case.
Two security officers within two weeks have been killed in a similar manner in Kumasi, due to this matter the Ashanti Regional Police Command have put in place measures to track down all suspects involved in this criminal act leading to the death of the security man.
