The MTN FA Cup, Ghana’s premier knockout football competition sponsored by MTN, reaches an exciting phase as the quarterfinal matches approach in the 2025/26 season. These crucial ties, featuring the remaining eight teams battling for a spot in the semifinals, are scheduled to take place from March 13 to March 16, 2026.
The Ghana Football Association’s Competitions Department has confirmed that all quarterfinal games will be hosted at two key venues: the historic Cape Coast Stadium in the Central Region and the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem, located in the Ahafo Region.
This centralized hosting arrangement aims to provide neutral, well-equipped grounds for high-stakes encounters while ensuring fans from various parts of the country can access quality facilities.
Cape Coast Stadium, known for its passionate football atmosphere and capacity to accommodate large crowds, will stage a portion of the matches, including potentially high-profile clashes involving teams like the 2022/23 champions Dreams FC.
Meanwhile, Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem offers a vibrant setting often associated with strong local support for clubs in that area. Spreading the fixtures across these two stadiums over four days allows for proper scheduling, crowd management, and maximum exposure for the competition.
The quarterfinalists include a mix of established Premier League powerhouses and determined challengers, such as Dreams FC, Heart of Lions, Attram De Visser, Medeama SC, Aduana FC, Techiman Liberty Youth, Nations FC, and Berekum Chelsea, following intense Round of 16 action earlier in February.
With the winners advancing to semifinals set for April 17–20 and the grand final planned for the May 30–31 weekend, these March quarterfinals represent a pivotal moment in the race for the prestigious trophy and the significant prize rewards that come with MTN FA Cup glory.
