“Mr. Kyeremeh Saved My Leg from Amputation” – Charles Taylor Praises Former Berekum Chelsea CEO

Former Ghanaian striker Charles Asampong Taylor has expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kyeremeh, the former CEO of Berekum Chelsea, for saving his leg from potential amputation.

Taylor revealed exclusively to Ahotor FM Sports that his leg was severely affected after he received injections during his time playing for Ghana in the 2009 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Ivory Coast.

Taylor disclosed that team doctors administered injections before each game, which caused immense pain and difficulty sleeping at night.

“I was given an injection throughout the games I played for the nation, after every game I find it difficult to sleep because during the night the injections have done their work,” he said.

However, Taylor’s situation took a turn for the better when he joined Berekum Chelsea, and Mr. Emmanuel Kyeremeh intervened.

Mr Kyeremeh facilitated Taylor’s surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, covering the costs and potentially saving his leg.

Taylor explained, “I will say it was Mr. Kyeremeh who saved me when I joined Berekum Chelsea, he took me to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and paid for the surgery.”

Taylor expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Kyeremeh’s kindness, saying, “Had it not been Mr. Kyeremeh, my leg would be amputated by now.” Taylor’s tribute highlights the significant impact Kyeremeh’s actions had on his life and career.
