
The Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Lawyer James Enu, has reaffirmed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government’s commitment to enhancing the road network in the area.
During an inspection tour of the ongoing resurfacing works on the Sakumono-Under Bridge Road, Lawyer Enu assured residents that his office would work diligently to ensure roads in key areas such as Adjei-Kojo, Lashibi, and surrounding communities are rehabilitated to improve accessibility and safety.
Speaking to Ahotor News, the MP emphasized that the improvement of roads remains a top priority, as it plays a crucial role in boosting economic activities and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.
He acknowledged the challenges faced by motorists and pedestrians due to poor road conditions and reiterated that his administration would not relent in addressing these issues.

Audio PlayerLawyer James Enu, also dismissed allegations that developmental projects in the constituency, particularly road infrastructure, are concentrated in Tema main while areas such as Lashibi, Kragon, and Adjei-Kojo are neglected.
Lawyer Enu reassured residents that his administration is committed to equitable development across all parts of the constituency.
He acknowledged the concerns raised by some residents about past infrastructure disparities but emphasized that under his leadership, no community would be left behind.
“The claims that only Tema main benefits from road projects are unfounded. My office, in collaboration with the government and relevant stakeholders, is working to ensure that areas like Lashibi, Kragon, and Adjei-Kojo receive their fair share of infrastructural improvements,” he stated.
The MP highlighted ongoing and upcoming road projects aimed at addressing long-standing transportation challenges in these communities.
He also stressed that beyond roads, his development agenda encompasses other key sectors, including healthcare, education, sanitation, and job creation.
