Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY is generating excitement in the music industry after being tipped as a potential nominee for the 2027 Grammy Awards in the prestigious Best African Music Performance category.
According to Grammy nomination predictions released by The Grammy Guru, MOLIY has been listed among the five leading contenders for the category with her song “BODY GO,” featuring South African superstar Tyla.
If the prediction materialises, MOLIY could make history as the first Ghanaian artiste to receive a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category, marking a significant milestone for Ghana’s music industry on the international stage.
MOLIY has enjoyed an impressive rise in recent years, particularly following the international success of her viral hit “Sad Girlz Luv Money,” which featured on Amaarae’s project before gaining worldwide attention through a remix featuring American singer Kali Uchis.
She further strengthened her international profile with “Shake It To The Max (FLY),” which became a global sensation and introduced her unique musical style to an even wider audience.
Her growing achievements include becoming the first Ghanaian nominated for Best Afrobeats Artist at the 2026 American Music Awards.
