Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY is set to release her new mixtape, BADDIES <3 MOLIY, a project celebrating confidence, empowerment and global music.
According to the “Shake It To The Max (FLY)” hitmaker, being a “baddie” is about confidence and self-belief, not appearance or body type.
The mixtape blends Afrobeats, dancehall, amapiano, pop and R&B, featuring collaborations with Tyla, Sarkodie, Shenseea, Skillibeng, Yailin La Más Viral, Mavo, Br3nya, Silent Addy, bees & honey, and Mellissa.
Its lead single, “Jetski (FRIKI),” teams MOLIY with Yailin La Más Viral and Theodora, combining Afropop, dancehall and Dominican dembow.
The project follows the global success of “Shake It To The Max (FLY),” whose remix with Silent Addy, Shenseea and Skillibeng has surpassed one billion streams across digital platforms.
MOLIY said she hopes the mixtape inspires young women to embrace confidence and chase their dreams.
With a European tour also scheduled for October, she says her goal is to show the world she is more than a one-hit wonder.
“I make music that makes people feel good. My music belongs at parties, concerts and festivals,” she said.
