West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus has been charged with violent conduct by the FA following attack on Spurs center back Van de Ven.
The Ghana international faces the possibility of a longer ban to his interim 3 game ban for the red card booking on Saturday. His punishment could potentially be extended.
He was shown a red card, which was upgraded by VAR from an initial yellow, after kicking out and shoving Spurs defender Micky van de Ven in the face during Tottenham’s 4-1 victory.
The incident escalated when Kudus also pushed Pape Matar Sarr, while Richarlison fell to the ground after charging at Kudus amid the chaos involving multiple players.
Kudus has to respond to the charges by Thursday.
