Ghanaian upcoming singer Joseph Kweku Okyere known as Mizty has shared an exciting insight into his creative process during an interview on Ahotor Mmre, hosted by the vibrant Obaapa Janee.
In his chat with Obaapa, Mizty opened up about a unique moment of inspiration that set him latest track ”Pay Day”.
“I wake up with the melodies,” Mizty explained, a smile lighting up his face as he described his early morning ritual. “Music is in me, so I tried it easy and let the melody guide me through. That’s how the song was born.”
He went on to explain how this effortless approach helped him create something truly authentic and in touch with his emotions. “It felt natural. I didn’t force the lyrics; they just flowed,” Mizty told Obaapa.
Describing his three years in the music industry as a “personal training ground,” he acknowledged that each experience shaped him, teaching him resilience, humility, and insight.
Mizty emphasises the importance of patience and self-belief.
However, he gradually began to realize that they were pivotal learning moments, equipping him for the next chapter in his career and life.
