Minority’s quest for Vice President’s health status is useless- NPP MP.

The NPP Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central, Hon. Ebenezer Gilbert Narh Nartey has stated that the quest for the vice president’s health status after his short illness is useless and should be highly disregarded.

According to him it will be a waste of their precious time and an act in futility. He further stated that the minority in Parliament organize press conference and issues statement on every issue and happenings in the country.

Hon. Narh- Nartey made it known that since the inception of this new parliament; they have organized more than 300 press conferences.

“Not even a single press conference from them has yielded any result in this country”

“They also wasted our time by appealing to the speaker for the recall on the cash for seat saga which eventually has not yielded any prudent result as at now”

“I think journalist will not take the minority serious because of their unfruitful outcries, to me it is a waste of time” “Vice presidents visit to the United Kingdom on a sick leave is no news and the minority should not make a huge faze about it, the former president John Mahama visited Dubai on during his leave and nothing bad was said about it by the minority”,He stated.

Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Morning show on Tuesday 23rd January ,with host Onantefour Addae Mununkum, the NPP member of Parliament  stated that if the minority per any means raise this issue in Parliament after their risers they will respond to them in an equal measure.

“We will respond to them only if they produce the autopsy report of the former president Mills. If they are able to produce it then we will produce the vice president’s health status”

“Minority do not have any right to ask when the vice president will return because they have no locust”

“As Parliamentarian we should be very serious on our job and help our constituents than busying ourselves with unproductive issues of that nature” He concluded
