The Minority in Parliament has boycotted President Akufo-Addo’s final State of the Nation Address (SONA) due to the governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison’s description of the caucus as hooligans.
The minority group is also protesting the failure of the President to sign the anti-witchcraft bill.
Scheduled for today, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s constitutionally mandated address, as outlined in Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, is designed to provide an overview of the nation’s current state at the commencement of each parliamentary session.
