Media Attache’ Urges Appreciation for Team Ghana’s Olympic Performance

Media Attache’ for Team Ghana Benjamin William Graham has issued a heartfelt call to Ghanaian to recognize and celebrate the remarkable performances of Ghanaian athletes at the ongoing 2024 Olympics games.

In an interview on another platform , William Graham despite the intense competition and high expectations, Ghanaians must acknowledged that Team Ghana has shown tremendous skill, dedication, and spirit throughout the Games especially in the Track and Fields events.

“Let us take a moment to appreciate the incredible efforts of our athletes at these Olympics, their dedication and resilience are truly commendable, and they have represented Ghana with honor and pride.”

Benjamin Azamati made a time of 10.17 seconds to place 9th position , a perfor­mance he described as his worst race for the season. Jamaica’s Oblique Seville won with a time of 9.81 seconds, followed by the reigning world champion, Noah Lyles, finished in second place with a time of 9.83 seconds and Louie Hinchliffe in third with a time of 9.97 seconds.

Abdul-Rasheed Saminu also completed the semifinals in 7th position with a time of 10.05 seconds. He competed alongside Jamaica’s Kis­hane Thompson who won the semifinal in a time of 9.80 seconds ahead of former world champion, Fred Ker­ley, with a time of 9.83 seconds and South Africa’s Benjamin Richardson with a time of 9.95 seconds.

Prior to that, swimmers Harry Stacey and Joselle Mensah and female high jump prospect, Rose Amoaniwaa Yeboah, all exited the championship at the early stage.
