Medeama Coach Ibrahim Tanko Sees Hearts of Oak’s Defeat as Motivation for Upcoming Clash

Medeama Sporting Club head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, is confident that his team will capitalize on Hearts of Oak’s recent defeat to Nations FC in their upcoming Ghana Premier League match.

The Phobians’ narrow loss on Thursday is seen as a morale-booster for Medeama, who are determined to take all three points from the encounter.

Coach Tanko believes that the extra two days of rest will give his team a significant advantage over Hearts of Oak.

“Our next game is against Accra Hearts of Oak. We are preparing very well so that we will get our points as well. They are playing today, and I think we have two days more rest.

Definitely, it’s good for us, so we are going to prepare very well and go and face them,” he explained in an interview with Medi TV.

Coach Tanko is well aware of the psychological impact of Hearts of Oak’s defeat on their morale.

“I heard they are playing today, and they are one goal down. It’s not good morale for them, so we are going to use that as a motivation for our team so that we will get something out of there,” he noted.

Medeama will look to exploit this vulnerability and secure a crucial win in the Ghana Premier League.

The highly anticipated clash between Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC is scheduled for Sunday, April 6, at the Tuba Astro Turf.

The match will kick off at 3 pm, with both teams eager to secure vital points in the league.
