May God curse me if I ever sold any slot meant for my constituents – Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa MP to critics.

Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah, Member of Parliament for the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa constituency in the Central Region, has strongly denied allegations that he sold recruitment slots meant for his constituents into the security services.

He called upon God to curse him if he had done such a thing against the very people who elected him to Parliament.

His comments were in response to accusations from the NPP during their campaigns in the constituency.

Alhaji Ghansah explained that due to political differences, the government intentionally withheld recruitment slots from him for his constituents, in an attempt to win the upcoming elections by keeping youth employment opportunities scarce.

Despite his efforts to secure even one slot, he received none. The MP urged his constituents to ignore the accusations and vote massively for both him and John Mahama in the upcoming elections.

He promised that if the NDC wins, his people will get the job opportunities they desire, especially in the security services, as he believes a government led by John Mahama will provide the opportunities they need.
