Established in 2018, the OSP is responsible for investigating and prosecuting corruption cases, recovering proceeds of corruption, and preventing corruption.
The OSP’s mandate is to investigate corruption cases involving public officers, politicians, and private sector actors.
While the OSP has made some progress, Hon. Awuah’s concerns about its effectiveness are valid.
The Minority is calling for a review of the OSP’s office to ensure meeting its mandate.
