The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man for possessing a weapon at the ST Theresa’s School polling Station at Okaikwei South constituency.
The incident which occurred today was reported in a press statement issued by the Police Service.
The suspect is currently assisting with investigations to determine how it all happened. The Police assured the public that swift action was taken to ensure safety and security at the polling station. They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and order during the electoral process.
The Ghana Police Service has stressed that the incident would not affect the smooth conduct of the voting process.
