NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama has pledged to upgrade the John Evans Atta Mills Community Day Senior High School (SHS) in Ekumfi into a full boarding school.
Speaking to a gathering at Ekumfi during his #Mahama4Change2024 tour in the Central Region, Mr. Mahama explained that this transformation would benefit students, parents, teachers, and the community, providing a stable environment for learning and personal development.
John Mahama assured voters that, if elected in the upcoming December 7 elections, he would prioritize this upgrade along with other initiatives to drive progress in Ekumfi and across Ghana.
Confident in the NDC’s victory, he highlighted his commitment to fostering development and stability in the region and the nation.
Criticizing the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, Mr. Mahama urged Ghanaians to avoid being misled by false promises.
He claimed that the NPP’s unfulfilled promises had left the country in economic hardship, making a strong case for experienced leadership to reset the nation’s course.
John Mahama stated that conditions are tougher now under the NPP than they were during his time in office, reinforcing his call for change.
