John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emphasized that only the NDC has the commitment to build a district hospital for the people of Ekumfi.
During a mini rally in Ekumfi, as part of his Central Regional tour, Mr. Mahama criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its lack of focus on genuine national development, claiming it prioritizes the interests of a select few over the broader needs of Ghanaians.
Highlighting the neglected state of a plot of land that Ekumfi chiefs had allocated for a proposed hospital, John Mahama expressed his disappointment that the land, instead of being developed, has become a haven for lizards, snakes, and other animals.
“It’s disheartening to see land generously provided by our chiefs for a hospital now overtaken by wildlife,” he stated.
Confident of an NDC victory in the upcoming December 7 elections, John Mahama pledged to fulfill the promise of building a district hospital in Ekumfi, affirming that the NDC is the only party committed to completing this essential project.
In addition to the hospital, he promised other development projects in the Ekumfi area aimed at stimulating the local economy and contributing to the nation’s progress as a whole.
