Mahama Pleadges To Upgrade Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa  Health Center To Polyclinic

John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, has pledged to upgrade the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Health Centre to a polyclinic if elected president, aiming to improve access to healthcare for residents in the area and surrounding communities.

Speaking to a gathering in Brakwa during his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour in the Central Region, Mr. Mahama promised several developmental projects for the region if the NDC wins the upcoming election.

He urged Ghanaians to choose an experienced leader to restore stability, emphasizing that the current government’s mismanagement has put the country in a difficult position.

“At this stage, Ghana needs an experienced driver to steer us forward, not an inexperienced driver’s mate,” he remarked.

John Mahama also addressed the issue of teacher licensure exams, promising to streamline the process.

Under his administration, the exams required for teacher qualification would be integrated into their final academic exams, eliminating the need for additional licensing tests after graduation.

He further assured that teachers and nurses would be hired every year to strengthen the country’s health and education sectors.

“Teachers will no longer have to take separate exams for postings. This will be part of their final exams, and teachers and nurses will be employed every year,” Mr. Mahama affirmed, highlighting his commitment to job creation and professional stability.
