Lost Of Concentration Cost Us The Game Against Legon Cities – Prosper Narteh Ogum Laments
Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed disappointment after his team’s narrow 2-1 defeat to Legon Cities in an outstanding Ghana Premier League game.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Ogum attributed the loss to lapses in concentration, especially in conceding the two goals .
The Porcupine Warriors began the game with energy and created a few early opportunities, but a defensive miscommunication allowed Legon Cities to capitalize, scoring the opening goal.
Although Kotoko fought back, eventually leveling the game, another momentary lapse led to Legon Cities’ decisive second goal, sealing the game in their favor.
Coach Ogum acknowledged the team’s effort but emphasized the need for his players to maintain focus and composure throughout the entire game.
“It’s unfortunate that a loss of concentration led to this result. We had the quality to get a better outcome, but we need to keep our focus to avoid such errors.”
Coach Prosper Ogum is now focused on his team back on track as they strive to meet their season goals in the GPL. Kumasi Asante Kotoko now lies on the 2nd position with 15 points .
