Former Black Stars player Charles Asampong Taylor has taken a swipe at the technical team of the Black Stars and the Ghana Football Association for their disrespect for Local players.
In a viral video, Isaac Afful of Samartex was instructed to carry a luggage by one of the personnels of the Black Stars. Speaking to Angel TV, Charles Taylor insisted that the disrespect has gone on for far too long.
“Local players deserve better. They can equally offer competition to the foreign players but because of disrespect they have been reduced to the role of either a drummer or “Kayayei”
Charles Taylor insist Hearts of Oak’s Kelvin Osei Asibey and Nations FC’s Rakak Kassim can equally compete with Salisu Mohammed in the national team.
The slump in the performance of the Black Stars have brought to fore several issues. At the moment, the Black Stars are on the verge of missing out on the African Cup of Nations for the first time since 2004.
