Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has stated that, the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Mr Mensa Otabil is a “hypocrite and a parasite” and should preach in the zoo.
His comments comes up after the Founder of the ICGC had stated days ago that he prefers to watch animals rather than watching Ghana television, saying it was always discussing politics.
The member of the NDC said that Mr Otabil will always be ready to watch Ghana television when the NDC is in power in order to criticize the government but when the mantle is taken over by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he is ready to watch and prefer animals in the zoo over criticising the Akufo Addo led administration.
He said, “Suddenly, some pastors say that today they watch animals. They are prepared to watch antelopes and giraffes.”
Following up on his comments, Mr Anyidoho has called on Mr Otabil to go and live as well as preach in the zoo.
