Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region Joshua Asumeng Badu, says he is confident of emerging victorious in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the party.
He is also confident that the NDC would win the Ofoase-Ayirebi seat in the 2024 elections and the best person to make that dream reality is him Joshua Asumeng Badu.
Mr Asumeng Badu in an interview with the Ahotor 92.3 Fm Newsroom said he was born and raised in the Ofoase-Ayeribi enclave so he understands the real challenges of the people in the area which he can solve them when given the mandate to lead the party in the constituency.
Mr Asumeng Badu said he had picked the nomination form and had also interacted with delegates in the various communities he would be representing if given the nod to represent them.
“I very hopeful that come May 13, when we congregate to elect a parliamentary candidate, I will emerge victorious and have the opportunity to represent my people.”
He said the issue of road was also critical to him since the bad roads in the area is making life unbearable for people living in and around the Ofoase-Ayeribi Constituency ,adding that health, roads, and tourism would equally be given serious attention on his agenda.
Mr Asumeng Badu said as a Former Chairman of the NDC in the area, it is his prayer that he will be able to win the primaries in the constituency because the works he had done for his constituents were clear, confident and convincing to be elected as the Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC come May 13th, 2023.

He said the foundation of every successful political party is a strong grass root and him being a grassroot person, he will make the grassroot vibrant to help the party win power in 2024.
Mr Joshua Asumeng Badu said the current Member of Parliament Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is not from the constituency so he doesn’t understand the plight of the people so as he Joshua Asumeng Badu is from the constituency he will help bring development to the area.
Over 800 individuals have picked up nomination forms to contest for various parliamentary seats across the country on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming primaries.
