Political Analyst David Dunu has urged the NPP not to respond to the NDC’s ‘True State of the Nation Address’.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm’s morning show ‘Ade Kye Mu Nsem‘, Mr. Dunu said the NPP will contradict what President Akufi-Addo state in his State of the Nation Address some weeks ago.
He said the true state of the nation address is usually delivered by the opposition and not the party in power.
“If the NPP is not careful, the things they will say would contradict President’s address which will bring problem, the State of the Nation Address is not NDC,NPP matter so if the President has delivered a State of the Nation, he did that for the whole Nation not for NDC and NPP so it will be good for the NPP to rescind their decision to reply the NDC’s ‘true State of the Nation Address’.
David Dunu believes that by all means, there would be contradictions should the NPP respond to the issues the National Chairman of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketiah raised and what President Akufo-Addo told Parliament in his state of the nation address.
He thinks the NDC has nothing to lose, but the government in power has much to lose.
