Hon. Stephen Kofi Baidoo, the Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Assin South constituency of the Central Region, has extended his best wishes to Ghanaian students writing their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) this week.
He took the opportunity to assure them of improved free senior high school education under a future NDC administration led by former President John Dramani Mahama.
Baidoo promised that the quality of education would be of the highest standard under Mahama’s leadership.
During an interview with Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of Ahotor Newsroom, he criticized Hon. Ntim Fordjour, the Deputy Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Assin South, for failing to address educational infrastructure issues in the constituency.
Baidoo highlighted that in some areas, students lack proper classrooms, which negatively impacts their education.
He assured that if elected as the Member of Parliament for Assin South and with Mahama as President, these issues would be resolved, significantly improving the educational infrastructure in the constituency.
