The Member of Parliament for Tema East, Hon. Ashai Odamtten, conveyed this message on the Adekyee Mu Nsem morning show on Ahotor 92.3 FM, hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in Accra. He emphasized the need to address factionalism and blocks within the constituency, advocating for the use of the ethics and arbitration committee to bridge gaps and foster unity within the party’s ranks and file. The ultimate aim is to consolidate efforts and secure victory for John Dramani Mahama and the Tema East seat.
Joining the discussion on the same platform, the NDC Chairman for Tema West, Hon. Robert Kempes Ofosuware, highlighted the importance of working as a cohesive team to increase votes for both the MP and the flag bearer in the constituency. Looking ahead, he stressed the necessity for constituents to set aside their differences and unite behind the party agenda, “Operation 60/40,” with the aim of securing more votes.
Hon. Ofosuware expressed confidence that with extra effort, the constituency can win Tema West from the ruling New Patriotic Party. This collaborative spirit, he believes, will contribute to the party’s success in the upcoming elections.
