Let’s rise up to rescue Ghana–Victor Emmanuel Smith

Ghanaians must rise up to fight and wrestle the country from the abysmal performance of the New Patriotic Party. Our dear country Ghana is sleeping, and there is a need for the citizen of this country to burry partisan culture and save Ghana from seven years of corruption and impunity we have experience from the leadership President Nana Akufo Addo.
The former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Victor Emmanuel Smith, said this on the Adekyee Mu Nsem morning show on Ahotor FM 92.3 in Accra,
He said seven years is gone with empty promises from the economic team and the entire government and the party stewardship which has nothing to account for in areas of development and good governance; rather abuse of human rights, impunity and corruption at all levels of governance and institutions.
National Democratic Congress as a party and the flag bearer John Dramani Mahama must close their ranks and rise above all party issues and rescue the country from sleeping into ditch.

Former Ambassador, Victor Smith, in responding to the recent past invading of UTV studio by NPP thugs, he opined that, violence is a character of the NPP. The NPP government leadership has a tendency of political strategy which can best be described as culture of violence “prepared to destroy and build”.
He said it’s very unfortunate this culture of violence it’s a citadel of the flag staff house, where some presidential staffers are part of the thugs orchestrating violence and all kinds of intimidation in the country.
He further reiterated that, its time true citizens of the country must rise to rescue this country from the incompetent leadership from Nana Addo and Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia administration with their empty political promises in the past seven years with cronyism and all kinds’ dissipation of the national resources with family and friends throughout the country.
The former ambassador, further stated that the members of parliament must stand firm to bring a change going into 2024 presidential and parliamentary election to forestall a system of checks and balances to discourage the government for contracting additional loans and financial facilities, which he thinks will over burden the already debt portfolio of the country which is already in distress.
He therefore called on the Ghanaians to speak to the issues affecting the country since we are all in difficult times and Ghana belongs to all of us, devoid of disrespecting to the president. We must rise up and rescue the nation. He stated.
