“Let’s Put our emotions aside and Give them Chance – Kwesi Nyantakyi backs Eddie Nketia and Hudson Odoi for World Cup

Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi believes the Black Stars should consider Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi for the 2026 World Cup.

“Let’s put our emotions aside and give them a chance if the coach believes they can compete favourably,” he said.

Nyantakyi emphasized that the Black Stars are open to any eligible Ghanaian player, regardless of past decisions.

“Some people become sentimental and emotional, saying, ‘Oh, this guy dumped Ghana,’ but I’m interested in players who can help us achieve results,” he added.

Both Nketiah and Hudson-Odoi have been performing well in the Premier League. Nketiah has scored four goals for Crystal Palace this season, while Hudson-Odoi has netted three times for Nottingham Forest.
