Legon Cities’ Relegation Battle Looks Bleak, Says Club PRO
Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, Communications Director of Legon Cities, has acknowledged that escaping relegation from the Ghana Premier League will be a significant challenge.
With four matches remaining, the Royals sit 17th with 25 points.
“It’s a very tough battle,” Agyemang said. “It’s technically a very difficult one…but it’s still 12 points available, and if we get results in all the games, then probably we stand a chance of surviving.”
Legon Cities will host league leaders Nations FC in Matchday 31 at the Accra Sports Stadium. A win would boost morale and potentially reignite hopes of a late-season escape.
