He urged the courts and security agencies to take firm action against offenders, emphasizing that the government remains committed to eradicating galamsey and safeguarding Ghana’s natural resources.
The minister reaffirmed his determination to halt mining in forest reserves and protect water bodies, stressing that the fight against illegal mining will be pursued with renewed vigor and zero tolerance.
