A disturbing land dispute has turned violent in Gomoa Bantama, also known as Millennium City, in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, leaving two individuals fighting for their lives and two others behind bars. The suspects, Patrick Ndego and Hassan, allegedly wielded cutlasses, inflicting serious injuries on two people during the clash.

Fear Grips the Community

The Chief of Gomoa Bantama, Nana Kwesi Amoani, has sounded the alarm, revealing that residents are living in constant fear due to ongoing threats and violence. According to him, Patrick Ndego, now in police custody, has been terrorizing property developers in the area for over a week, making life unbearable for residents.

A Plea for Justice and Peace

Nana Kwesi Amoani is now appealing to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to step in and ensure justice is served. The community is crying out for immediate intervention to restore peace and security. Will the authorities listen and act swiftly to prevent further bloodshed?
