Lakers’ Rob Pelinka on Anthony Davis-Luka Doncic trade

The Los Angeles Lakers vice president of basketball operations and general manager Rob Pelinka has indicated the trade for Doncic as well as the departure of Anthony Davis along with Max Christie and Jalen Hood-Schifino.
Rob believes Anthony Davi’s six seasons with the Lakers were memorable as he led the franchise to a championship and cemented himself as a perennial NBA All-Star. Pelinka added that they are proud of Max Christie’s development at the Lakers as he has grown into an impact three-and-D player and is appreciative of the work Jalen Hood-Schifino has put in to show professionalism at every level.
He believes sports is about transformative moments and is inspired by these moments, Lakers fans expect and love a franchise that continually ushers in new eras of greatness.
Pelinka believes the Lakers have acquired a unique talent who will be a superstar for the franchise for a long time. He praised Luka Doncic as one of a kind, young global superstar who will lead this franchise for years to come and his killer instincts and commitment to winning championships will be a driving force for the team.
