Kwesi Nyantakyi’s Legacy Paved Way for Kurt Okraku’s CAF Elevation – Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Chairman Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe believes Kurt Okraku’s appointment as CAF 2nd Vice President is partly due to the groundwork laid by Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Nyantakyi’s influential roles at CAF and FIFA Council enhanced Ghana’s international football standing.
Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe praised Nyantakyi’s understanding of the game and achievements, saying, “Kwesi performed excellently; he knew football. His achievements pushed Ghana forward, and Kurt is now benefiting from that legacy.”
Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe acknowledged that Nyantakyi’s legacy has paved the way for Okraku’s success, stating, “My successor, Kwesi Nyantakyi… left an indelible mark at CAF, and that has paved the way for Kurt.”
