Kwabena Gyansah’s Last Stop Premieres on March 28

Renowned film producer Kwabena Gyansah is set to premiere his latest movie, Last Stop, at Silverbird Cinema in Accra on Friday, March 28.
Directed by Gyansah himself, the film boasts a star-studded cast, including Adjetey Anang, Fred Amugi, Lydia Forson, and Gloria Sarfo.

Other notable actors featured are Clemento Suarez, Andrew Adote, Benedicta Gafah, Jessica Larney, Foster Romanus, Sheena Gakpe, and Solomon Fixon Owoo.

A gripping tale of adventure, family, deception, and redemption, Last Stop follows a determined trotro driver and his loyal mate as they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds. But as they fight for their lives, they soon realize that survival is only the beginning of their journey.

With the growing interest in cinema, Kwabena Gyansah and his team have been actively promoting the film on social media, sharing posters and engaging with fans to build anticipation.

“I’m thrilled to finally bring Last Stop to the big screen. This film is a labour of love, and I’m incredibly proud of the dedication and talent of our cast and crew. Audiences are going to be captivated by this thrilling story of survival and redemption, and I can’t wait to share this journey creatively and entertainingly,” Gyansah told Graphic Showbiz.

A graduate of the University of Cape Coast, Kwabena Gyansah is the creative director at Ananse Entertainment. His previous works include Azali (2018), The Oseis (2021), and Bunny (2022).

In 2018, Azali became the first Ghanaian film to be submitted for the Best International Feature Film category at the 92nd Academy Awards, marking a historic moment for the country’s film industry.

Though it did not receive a nomination, Gyansah remains optimistic about Last Stop making a significant impact on the international stage.
