Kurt Okraku Thanks Prez Mahama, Supporters After CAF Appointment

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has expressed gratitude to key figures after his appointment as CAF 2nd Vice President.

Okraku thanked Ghana’s former President John Mahama and Sports Minister Kofi Adams for their support.

 

Okraku also thanked CAF President Patrice Motsepe and the leadership for elevating him to the position.

He pledged to diligently support the President and Executive Committee in promoting African football.

 

The appointment marks a significant milestone in Okraku’s career, following his election to the CAF Executive Committee in March.

He becomes the second Ghanaian to reach the level of CAF Vice President, after Kwesi Nyantakyi.

 

Okraku’s new role will enable him to shape major policies and initiatives determining the future of African football. He is poised to play a key role in continental football politics and development.
