Deputy Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti region, Mr Baah Acheamfour has said the outcome of the 2023 by-election happening in the Kumawu constituency in the Ashanti region will determine the fate of the NDC come 2024 general elections
According to him, for the past three weeks the leadership of the NDC in the Ashanti region has stormed the Kumawu constituency campaigning for their parliamentary candidate named (Akwasi Amankwa) to win the upcoming by eletions hence their campaign has been from house to house selling the NDC to the people of Kumawu.
Speaking on the morning show on Ahotor fm (Adekye Mu Nsem) hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu, Baah Acheamfour said their message is loud and clear which is a signal to the people that, the NDC and NPP are not the same like people have been saying it
“NDC gives you development when you need it whiles the NPP will give you things when they need your vote”, he said.
The Electoral Commission will hold a by-election to elect a new member of parliament for Kumawu in the Ashanti Region on May 23.
