Kpando Municipality Welcomes New MCE: Mr. Kilian Donkor’s Confirmation Sparks Renewed Optimism

The Kpando Municipality is buzzing with renewed optimism after Mr. Kilian Donkor’s official endorsement as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), securing 68% support from assembly members. The confirmation ceremony was a jubilant affair, with supporters cheering and chanting, marking the beginning of a new era of collaborative development.

The former President, John Dramani Mahama, nominated Mr. Donkor, who received overwhelming support from the assembly members. The 68% support from assembly members constitutes a clear majority, according to the Member of Parliament for Kpando, Sebastian Deh.

Confirmation ceremony marked the beginning of what many hopes will be a new era of collaborative development for the area.The Kpando Municipal Assembly is located in the Volta Region of Ghana, with its administrative office situated at Kpando Fesi, near Victory Church International.

The assembly can be reached through various contact channels. In the past, other individuals have held the position of MCE in the Kpando Municipality. For instance, Hon. Geoffrey K. Badasu was confirmed as MCE in 2021, polling 71.4% of votes cast.

However, it appears there might be some discrepancy in the information regarding Mr. Donkor’s confirmation, as another source mentions Ernest Theophilus Quist as the confirmed MCE for Kpando Municipality.
