Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku Esq., has provided an important update on ongoing transfer discussions involving several key players of the club.
According to him, Ablorh, Samba, and Peter Amidu have all agreed in principle not to leave as free agents. This decision ensures the Porcupine Warriors will benefit financially from their potential exits.
“Per our last meeting with them, Ablorh, Samba, and Peter Amidu have in principle resolved not to leave as free agents, allowing Kotoko to benefit from their move,” he confirmed.
Duku added that once negotiations with interested clubs are concluded, Kotoko will not stand in the way of their transfers, emphasising that both the players and the club must profit from any deal.
“When an agreement is finally reached, the club won’t impede their moves, given that both parties would benefit,” he stated.
However, the Communications Director also revealed that discussions with Mohammed Camara and Ansu have not yet taken place, leaving their situations unresolved as the transfer window approaches.
The club is expected to engage the remaining players in the coming days as transfer activities intensify.
