Kelvyn Boy recently shared in an interview on Hitz FM that he has been trying to mend fences with dancehall artist Stonebwoy for the past five years, but to no avail.
Despite his persistent efforts, Stonebwoy has consistently rejected their attempts at reconciliation. Kelvyn Boy expressed his frustration, stating that he has even forgotten the root of their conflict and is tired of the ongoing dispute.
Their fallout reportedly began in January 2019 when Stonebwoy terminated his mentorship of Kelvyn Boy, who was signed to Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group. The rift stemmed from misunderstandings that arose during their time together, leading Stonebwoy to decide against renewing Kelvyn Boy’s contract due to what was perceived as disrespectful behavior.
Although the two artists collaborated on the track “Na You,” released in 2018, and garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube, their professional relationship deteriorated. Despite K
Kelvyn Boy’s continued efforts to reconcile, it remains uncertain whether Stonebwoy will be receptive to resolving their differences in the future.
