Ghanaian media personality Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has voiced his displeasure regarding comments made by his fellow industry members, Kwabena Kwabena and Maurice Ampaw.
During a segment on United Showbiz, which was closely watched by fans and commentators alike, Arnold didn’t hold back in criticizing the duo for what he deemed as “insensitive” statements. Arnold specifically took issue with Kwabena Kwabena’s remark that “when you see someone in trouble, do not laugh but pray it does not happen to you.”
He described this sentiment as nonsensical, arguing that it completely misses the gravity of the situation being discussed. According to Arnold, it is not laughter that is being directed towards those in distress, but rather a serious concern for their well-being.
He emphasized that the comment lacked substance and failed to address the real emotions at play. Turning his attention to Maurice Ampaw, Arnold vehemently defended against the accusations that may have been directed toward the man of God.
He insisted that there is no widespread animosity aimed at Maurice and stressed the importance of constructive dialogue. Arnold expressed frustration that Maurice seemed to be speaking without fully grasping the context, urging him to remain silent unless he had something meaningful to contribute to the ongoing discourse.
Additionally, Arnold highlighted a troubling trend where individuals who are affiliated with Prophet Salifu Amoako seem to be speaking on his behalf, potentially out of fear of reprisal. He called for such individuals to refrain from commenting on the matter unless they are equipped with credible insights.
In a rallying cry for accountability and sensible conversation, Arnold advised those without anything constructive to say to keep their thoughts to themselves, emphasizing the need for thoughtful dialogue in the face of serious issues.
