Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has responded to social media trolls who repeatedly call her names like “prostitute” and “olosho,” dismissing their insults as lazy and unintelligent.
In a post on X, Henshaw expressed her frustration, challenging her critics to at least be more creative if they insist on attacking her online.
“Name-calling like olosho, prostitute, and the like is just exhausting. Can’t you come up with more intelligent responses? Oh well, I guess common sense was in abundance, but you walked away from it, leaving yourselves empty-headed. Dullards.”
Her statement sparked widespread reactions, with many social media users rallying behind her while condemning those who resort to such derogatory remarks.
One user wrote:
“Big Aunty, don’t even stress yourself. These insults usually come from people with low self-esteem, unresolved personal issues, or a complete lack of home training.”
Another added:
“The words come easy to them because that’s what they’ve seen in their homes—mothers, sisters, and ancestors included.”
Others mocked the trolls, likening their repetitive insults to a “broken record” and questioning their intelligence.
“You can’t expect brilliance from people who only think with their genitals. Their brains simply wither from lack of use—just like any other muscle.”
“Most of these riff-raff just spew nonsense from their dead brains. A truly disgusting and irritating bunch.”
Despite the negativity, Henshaw remains unfazed, maintaining her signature poise in the face of online hate.
