Karim Zito Determined to Win GPL Title
Interim Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito is determined to lead the Porcupine Warriors to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
Despite currently sitting fourth on the league log with 47 points, Zito believes it’s not too late to mount a title challenge.
“We have six matches, 18 points that can change a lot,” Zito said. “So it’s not over until it’s over. We will fight until the end.” Zito’s first match in charge will be against Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
With experience guiding Dreams FC to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals and Ghana’s U-20 team to the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations title, Zito aims for an immediate impact.
He’ll face a tough test against Aduana FC as he seeks to get Kotoko back on track and in contention for the league title.
