Kanye West opened up about his past relationship with Kim Kardashian .The 47-year-old rapper admitted that marrying Kardashian was “his fault,” saying, “That was my fault. No, that was my fault.” in his recent interview.
West revealed that just two months into their relationship, he realized he didn’t want to have children with her. However, he acknowledged, “But that wasn’t God’s plan.”
He also addressed his ongoing conflict with Kardashian, particularly her attempts to prevent the release of his song Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, which features their daughter, North, alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs. “When my daughter was put on the song, that’s when I realized I didn’t own their name and likeness,” West said. He further questioned his custody arrangement, adding, “I don’t have at least 50-50 with my kids, so how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities, and I don’t have a say.”
West had previously shared screenshots of a dispute with Kardashian over North’s involvement in the song and the trademarking of their children’s names. In the texts, Kardashian reportedly told him, “I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18, it goes to her. So stop. I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!” (via Page Six).
In response, West demanded changes, warning, “Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”
