Lamine Yamal Wins KOPA Trophy At The Ballond’Or Awards Ceremony

FC Barcelona sensational wonder-kid Lamine Yamal won the Kopa trophy for the best young player at the France Football’s Ballon d’Or.

The Spaniard became the youngest player ever to win the award aged just 17 after last year winner Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid.

A product of Barcelona’s La Masia Academy, Lamine Yamal also became the youngest nominee for the Ballon d’Or when he made the top 30 nominees for the prestigious award.

Lamine Yamal joins teammates Pedri and Gavi, who have previously received the Kopa Award. Netherlands legend Ruud Gullit gave the award to the youngster, who arrived in Paris with his Barca and Spain teammate Dani Olmo
