Jordan Ayew is set to lead the Black Stars as they take on Sudan in the 2025 African Cup of nations qualifier on Thursday, 10th October, 2024.
The deputy skipper will hold the fort in the abence of Thomas Partey who has been ruled out as a result of injury. Jordan is expected to wear the captain armband in both matches against Sudan.
Since making his Black Stars debut in 2010, Jordan Ayew has been a regular in the team, chipping in 28 goals in over 100 caps.
Ghana will be counting on him as they look forward to improving their fortunes in the 2025 AFCON qualifier. The Black Stars have only a point after two matches in the qualifiers
